50% of TV Remotes contain the Cold Virus

Updated: Jul 29, 2022

Everyone in your family uses it, often daily - could the humble remote control be spreading the cold virus to everyone who touches it?

Scientists at the University of Virginia found that that cold virus could live on your TV remote for 2 days or longer. They tested the homes of adults showing early signs of the cold and found that 6 out of 10 remotes were contaminated.

Just think about it - when you feel unwell, what do you do? Lay down on the couch, grab a blanket, pillow and the TV remote. Often flicking through channels to try and find something interesting on daytime TV (not easy to do!).

Then in the afternoon when others arrive home, they pick up the remote and risk the virus spreading to them.

The solution to sanitise your TV remote is easy...

Simply give your TV remote a daily spray with the Thieves Spray.

The Thieves Spray contains a potent combination of therapeutic grade essential oils to help purify all of those nasties lurking on surfaces like TV remotes. The Young Living Thieves Oil contained in the spray includes the essential oils of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary.

You can even clean your hands with the Thieves Spray. Simply pump one or two sprays into your hands, rub together, then wipe hands clean.

However, if you are specifically looking for a hand sanitiser, use the Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier.

Another great tip is to wash your hands with the Thieves foaming hand soap. Make sure you keep one next to your sink, as well as in every bathroom.
