Hummus Dip Recipe with Lemon Essential Oil


4 Tbsp olive oil

5 drops of Young Living Lemon essential oil

1 drop of Young Living Peppermint essential oil

240 grams of cooked chickpeas, drained

1/4 cup of vegetable broth

2/3 cup of greek yoghurt

2 Tbsp roasted sesame seeds

Pinch of salt and pepper

1 tsp cumin, ground

1 garlic clove, minced

3 Tbsp parsley, chopped


Pour olive oil into a small bowl. Add lemon essential oil and peppermint essential oil to the olive oil. Place chickpeas in a vitamix or similar blender. Add olive oil mixture. Add vegetable broth, greek yoghurt, sesame seeds, salt and pepper, cumin, garlic and parsley. Blend until you achieve the desired consistency. Add more chickpeas as needed to get the desired consistency.
